Board of Directors
Cavendish is governed by an independent board with deep experience in capital markets, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. The board meets quarterly and provides independent oversight of the firm's investment activity, risk management, and client protection standards.

Seamus O'Brien
Seamus has spent four decades at the forefront of UK and European capital markets. He served as a senior partner at two of Britain's leading investment banks before joining Cavendish. He chairs the investment committee and sets the strategic direction of the firm.

Alan McDonald
Alan brings extensive governance and regulatory expertise gained across senior roles in financial supervision and in private practice. He chairs the firm's audit and risk committee and provides independent oversight of compliance frameworks and investor protection standards.

Michael Bennet
Michael leads deal origination, investment committee analysis, and portfolio management. He joined Cavendish from a technology-focused private equity firm, where he spent twelve years evaluating late-stage venture and secondary positions across the US and European technology landscape.

Siobhán Gallagher
Siobhán oversees all regulatory and compliance obligations, including AML/KYC programmes, investor suitability assessments, and reporting obligations under UK FCA rules. She has held senior compliance roles at regulated firms in London, Frankfurt, and Luxembourg.

Pádraig Connolly
Pádraig is an independent non-executive director with a background in corporate governance, institutional fund administration, and UK company law. He brings an external perspective to board deliberations and chairs the firm's remuneration and nominations committee.

Adam King
Adam is the firm's first point of contact for investor enquiries, onboarding, and ongoing communications. He coordinates KYC, wire confirmations, and reporting between investors, brokers, and the compliance team, ensuring every client receives a single, accountable line of communication with the firm.

The full board convenes four times per year. The audit and risk committee meets separately on a bi-annual basis.
